2. Process of elimination

3. Use your context clues

4. Maintain a positive attitude throughout the test

5. Review all your answers before turning in your test booklet

6. Don’t spend all of your time on one question, just move on and if you have time go back to it

7. For open-ended questions turn the question into a statement and give examples

8. Organize your thoughts before you begin to write

9. Read and reread questions carefully
